1. Introduction
These Terms govern access to and use of SafeL ("Service"), a subscription-based emergency readiness platform operated from Borkheda, Kota, Rajasthan, India.
By creating an account or subscribing, you agree to these Terms.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into binding agreements.
3. Nature of Service
SafeL provides a secure digital platform enabling users to:
- Store encrypted information
- Designate trusted contacts
- Configure continuity safeguards
SafeL is a technology platform only.
SafeL:
- Does not verify life status
- Does not act as executor, trustee, fiduciary, or legal representative
- Does not replace a legal will, estate plan, or professional legal advice
4. Subscription & Payments
Access to certain features requires a paid subscription.
Subscriptions:
- Are billed as described at signup
- May renew automatically unless cancelled
- Are subject to modification with prior notice
SafeL reserves the right to suspend service for non-payment.
5. User Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate account and trusted contact information
- Maintain secure credentials
- Update designated contacts as needed
- Use the Service lawfully
You are solely responsible for:
- The accuracy of stored information
- The consequences of your configured safeguards
6. Continuity Safeguards & Limitations
Continuity actions occur only after configured safeguards are completed.
However:
- No automated system can guarantee absolute accuracy
- SafeL does not independently confirm life status
- Delays, technical failures, or third-party service disruptions may occur
You acknowledge inherent system limitations.
7. Beneficiary Conduct
Users must designate contacts responsibly.
False reporting, impersonation, or attempts to bypass safeguards may result in suspension or permanent termination.
8. Administrative Review
SafeL may pause, delay, or review continuity actions in flagged or high-risk scenarios.
SafeL retains discretion to intervene where misuse is suspected.
9. Service Modifications
SafeL may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at its discretion.
10. Termination
Accounts may be suspended or terminated for:
- Misuse
- False information
- Security risks
- Violation of law
Users may delete accounts at any time.
Certain security logs may be retained for compliance.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
SafeL is not liable for:
- Indirect or consequential losses
- Beneficiary disputes
- Incorrect or outdated information provided by users
- Third-party service failures
Total liability shall not exceed the subscription fees paid in the preceding 12 months.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold SafeL harmless from claims arising from:
- Inaccurate information provided by you
- Misuse of the Service
- Disputes involving designated contacts
13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
Jurisdiction shall lie exclusively with courts in Kota, Rajasthan.
14. Force Majeure
SafeL is not liable for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control.
15. Amendments
SafeL may update these Terms. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
